Doctoral Symposium
The MLKD 2027 Doctoral Symposium provides a supportive and interactive forum for doctoral students to present their ongoing research, discuss research challenges, and receive constructive feedback from distinguished researchers and experienced academics. The symposium is designed to foster academic exchange, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and help participants strengthen the quality and impact of their doctoral research.
The symposium welcomes Doctor / Ph.D. candidates whose research aligns with the conference themes, including machine learning, knowledge discovery, artificial intelligence, data science, intelligent systems, and related disciplines. Students at all stages of their doctoral studies are encouraged to participate, particularly those who have established a clear research direction and seek expert feedback to refine their research methodology, validate their findings, or shape future research directions.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Present their doctoral research to an international audience.
- Receive constructive feedback from experts and peers.
- Discuss research methodologies, challenges, and future work.
- Build professional networks with leading researchers and fellow doctoral students.
- Enhance their presentation and scientific communication skills.
Submissions should clearly describe the research motivation, problem statement, objectives, methodology, current progress, preliminary results (if available), and expected contributions of the doctoral research. All submissions will undergo peer review, and accepted authors will present their work during the Doctoral Symposium. Outstanding presentations may receive a Best Doctoral Symposium Presentation Award.
The Doctoral Symposium aims to cultivate the next generation of researchers by providing an inspiring environment for scholarly discussion, mentoring, and international collaboration.
